Council member can appoint a proxy to participate in votes for them during an absence.
The council member must provide written notice OR inform all other council members who his proxy will be prior to his absence.
If the council member’s absence is permanent or exceeds six months, then an election will be held for his replacement.

Discussion held.
Conclusion: Need to speak with the port authority.

Notes from Court on the 26th of September in the 6th year of Adelrune

Antioc
- The forces from Solace were able to reach the gatehouse of Antioc, providing aid to the Golden Chalice. We were able to take out the siege weapons, and our added forces allowed the Golden Chalice to strike at the forces to the north and take out the blood magic siege works.
- Thank you to everyone who went and added Solace in this endeavour.
- Thank you to everyone who stayed and protected our town while others were gone.

Portals
- Portals are appearing around Solace. This is believed to be because of Solace's location on a couple different laylines combined with the current time of year.

Chalice Histories
- Dame Diamante is currently researching the histories of various Chalice orders and asks that anyone with information speaks with her.

Persephone
- Due to various signs and events, it is currently believed that Persephone is likely to attack Solace tonight. She is a demoness of disease capable of causing illness and potentially killing those she touches.

Guilds
- Please remember that the various guilds of Solace (The Guild of Craftsmen, The Guild of Academics, and the Bardic College) are all looking for new members interested in participating in their activities.

New Citizens
- On this day, Alexandria Monteque, Nasir, Kojiro Shingon, Tobias Paine, and Vorandiel took the oath of citizenship.

Nominations:
Nominations for the next Council of Solace are now open and will be accepted through the new year. Elections will be held next gathering on Saturday at noon.

Some amendments and additions to the Laws of Solace have been made and were approved in October by vote.
A couple additional amendments were approved by vote in December.
